It has been sooo much fun getting to know him and bond with him!! We pretty much gush at everything he does! Hiccups - OH MY GOSH!, Yawn - OH MY GOSH!, Smile - OH MY GOSH!, even crying and making those sweet little noises when he eats! We are fully and completely in love with him!! I find myself looking at pictures and videos of him during his naptime because I miss his eyes. He's just totally the best so I'll just say I'm sorry right now for being another crazy mother that goes on and on about her child. It's really ok though, right?

Please excuse my lack of words...
Apologies for not putting much on here but his sweet face! My mental capacity has not been at its highest as I'm sure all you mothers can attest to. Zion was born June 26th, 6lbs. 70z, 19 1/2 in. He is African American and Jamaican. He was not due until July 23rd so he was pretty big for being a month early! He is healthy, a great eater and sleeper - which we are so thankful for!! We have learned that the only things that really bother him are being cold and sun in the eyes. Noise doesn't seem to phase him so we know he'll fit right in to our family! (Daddy can be pretty loud =).

Oh you're not crazy...you're just a mommy now! I asked you the other day if you felt like his mommy yet. It sounds like you do now!
ReplyDeleteOf course you are NOT crazy! Unless all of us mommies are, because I think every mommy gushes over every single thing they do! Children are a true gift from God. He has fulfilled His promise to you! As I page through the pictures of your wonderfully beautiful boy, it is so easy to tear up thinking of how great this is! I can't wait to meet little Zion.
ReplyDeleteIt's totally OK and expected.....I'm saying OH MY GOSH all the time and that's just from pictures and video.....Love you.....Mom
ReplyDeleteOf course you are. Enjoy it...it flies by.
ReplyDeleteI would be totally disappointed if you didn't post tons of pictures and gush about your sweet little guy! ;-D (We're as eager to hear about him as you are to talk about him!)
